At the 12th Annual Honor Flight Columbus Reunion on November 13, the organization recognized the original working Board assembled in 2007 by Bill and Bobbi Richards as the Founders of Honor Flight Columbus.

HFC Founders Special Recognition
Effective 10/1/2021 (extended from 10/1/2020), everyone on an HFC flight, including Veterans and Guardians, will be required to have a COMPLIANT ID (REAL ID). Details about this requirement can be found here.
Honor Flight Columbus accepts applications from America’s senior Veterans: Currently, as senior Veteran is defined as any individual with active duty service prior to May 7, 1975 (the end of the Vietnam War). In addition, any terminally ill veterans from any era will be served with priority.
World War II through Korean War and Cold War veterans will continue to have priority and Vietnam Era Veterans will be placed on a wait-list and served in the order in which their applications were received.
It is our goal to transition veterans of wars by the sequence of the conflicts as long as donations from the public continue.
