Don’t miss the most patriotic experience of the year: Westerville’s Field of Heroes
Honor Your Personal Hero. The Field of Heroes is a moving way to honor your heroes by flying a flag in their honor among a perfectly situated, spectacular display of 3,000 American flags. For full information or to purchase a flag, visit www.fieldofheroes.org.
Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club is pleased to present this annual community tradition with this year’s special features:
Korean War In Tribute
Remember the “Forgotten War.” Celebrate the men and women who served our country in the Korean War so that it is the “Forgotten War” no more. Join us in remembrance and honor at this special tribute presented by the Westerville for Honor Flight Committee, benefiting Honor Flight Columbus.
The Eyes of Freedom
This traveling memorial depicts the fallen of Lima Company 3/25, one of the hardest hit units in Operation Iraqi Freedom. These life-size portraits are a remembrance of spirit, honoring all those who answered the call to service, in every branch of our armed forces. These Eyes reflect the thousands who have served, fought and paid
the ultimate sacrifice defending Freedom. The memorial is presented in Westerville City Council Chambers (21 S. State St.) throughout Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12-5 p.m. Please visit www.limacompanymemorial.org for more information.
